We have a great range of birds of Prey. Over the past years some species have been given a helping hand, resulting in increased numbers. Other species however are still in decline

A journey to the northern isles with visits to the Shetland mainland,Yell, Fetlar and Unst reveals the secret and abundant wildlife. including the Red necked Phalarope, Gt and Artic Skuas and many Puffins
Reedbed Wildlife
The secrets of the reed bed is revealed, with a look at the warblers, Bittern and bearded tit amongst others
Season- Spring Wildlife
The colours of the spring flower, birds in song and moving to the nesting grounds. The adults are busy collecting food for their young, it's a busy time
Season - Summer Wildlife
The summer heat encourages our butterflies and other insects out to visit the summer flowers
Season - Autumn Wildlife
As the colours turn a rustic orange/ brown, the flowers give way to fungi. Birds start to pass through on migration it's a time for preparation

Our visits over the past 25 years has seen some key changes to the Shetland wildlife, is this down to climate change or other factors

Shetland has some unique flowers, with the rare Oyster plant and many others on the Keen of Hamer (NNR) including Edmundston mouse ear chickweed found no where else in the world
Unst - Britain's most northerly island
Experience island life and the wildlife of one of the most remote inhabited islands in Britain. Teaming with bird life and stories of interesting people such as Burke and Hare and Sir Peter Scott

Britain has a great variety of waterfowl, especially swelled in winter. We take a look at the swans, geese, ducks and other waterfowl to help you identify the bird and find out some of their habits.

From the Ringed Plover to the Lapwing, we look at the range of species that visit our coasts and inland waters
Wildlife of the Black Forest (Germany)
A visit to the southern area of Germany reveals a land full of cuckoos and waterfalls , an outstanding area for birds such as Purple heron, nightingale, white stork and birds of prey
Wildlife of the Camargue (France)
One of the premier areas in Europe for wildlife. Abundant flamingos, stilts, roller, hoopoe and other colourful birds. But how has the area changed since the second world war?
Wildlife of the central Pyrenees (France)
A massive range of mountains separates France from Spain. Here we find Vultures, Chough and other alpine creatures in a spectacular setting as we visit areas in and around Gavarnie
Wildlife of the Vallee du Ossoue (France) -
A less known valley close to Gavarnie, an area rich in wild flowers with many orchid species. Not forgetting the equally rich bird population
Wildlife of the Somme (France)
An area not normally visited for wildlife as people head further south. Along the coast we visit some outstanding areas for birds
Woodland wildlife (New 2011)
We look at flower, insects and birds that make woodland one of our richest habitats

Battle of the Bulge- revisited
We trace the battle touring many of the locations the fighting took place. Many interesting relics remain both in Germany, Belgium and Luxembourg and we visit some of these to gain an insight into what happened on both the American and German fronts
Restored - WW2 fighting machines
We take a look at restored British, American, German and Russian fighting vehicles that can now be seen around Europe. Museum, outdoor static and fully working machines that have survived the last 60+ years

German fighting machines are rare, but we track down some interesting Museum, outdoor static and fully working fighting machines that still exist around Europe
V- weapons
We take a look at the V1, V2 and V3 weapons and locations in France.
Dachau concentration camp
We visit the Dachau concentration camp near Munich to see what remains today. This was the first camp established in 1933. Some viewers may find some images disturbing.
Hitler's Atlantic Wall
We follow the wall from Belgium through northern France to Normandy to find what can be seen today. Still lots of bunkers and gun emplacements still visible.
